How do you determine what products to sell in your Marketplace? The Seagram’s Escapes Holiday Marketplace: Featuring Black-Owned Businesses was open to all black-owned businesses who applied during the application period and met a set of rules and regulations. Our goal was to feature as many businsses as possible, which is why you will find nearly 2,000 businesses and a wide variety of products in our Marketplace!
Why do some shops have images, prices, etc, and other don't? We have a small development team, and used an automated process to pull in information about the products listed in a shop's application. The process uses metadata from the product's link to find images, descriptions and prices. Not all websites or eCommerce platforms are built the same, so in some cases the information about products is missing or imcomplete (for instance, an Instagram post isn't designed to share the same information as a Shopify listing). We've made our best effort to present each shop in the best possible way with the resources we have.
I'm a shop owner featured in the Seagram’s Escapes Holiday Marketplace but one or more of my products are missing? We have a small development team, and used an automated process to pull in information about your products using metadata from the links you submitted with your application. Not all websites or eCommerce platforms are built the same, so it's possible that the metadata about your products wasn't formatted the way our program expected, which can result in missing images, descriptions or links. We've made our best effort to present each shop in the best possible way with the resources we have.
